Through the ‘Public Private Synergy Convoy’ project (P.P.S.) there is a shift of architectural tools away from designing physical spaces and objects into designing forms of publicness and privateness in an institutional sense. The P.P.S. Convoy project becomes an ‘Architecture of Emergency’ proposing fragments of Public Private Synergies within the institutional void caused by the war of 1974 and the by-communal clashes of 1963.
Reference for the project is the new condition created after the selective opening of the cease fire line since April 2003 generating the mobility of people between the two parts of the island after 30 years.
